Please note: Certain domain registration data may be published in public WHOIS/RDAP databases as required by ICANN policies.


3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your personal data for purposes including, but not limited to:


  • Provision of Services: Processing domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and related customer support.
  • Billing and Payments: Managing billing processes and processing payments.
  • Compliance: Adhering to legal and regulatory obligations, including ICANN requirements.
  • Security: Protecting against unauthorized access, fraud, and other security issues.
  • Improvement: Enhancing our website, services, and customer experience.
  • Communication: Sending service-related notifications, updates, and marketing communications (if you have opted in).
  • Tokenization Services: To process your election to tokenize a domain, issue corresponding digital tokens, and facilitate marketplace interactions.
  • Compliance: To comply with applicable securities, financial services, and anti-money laundering regulations related to tokenization.
  • Transparency: To publish certain onchain or marketplace data (e.g., token IDs, blockchain transactions, wallet addresses) that are inherently public.

  • Service Providers: With trusted US-based third-party service providers who assist with our operations, such as hosting, payment processing, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

  • Doma Protocol & Marketplaces: We may share relevant information with the Doma Foundation, protocol operators, or third-party marketplaces in order to provide the Tokenization Service.

5. DATA TRANSFERS

Your personal information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located in the United States and other jurisdictions. We take appropriate measures to ensure that any transfer of data complies with applicable data protection laws and that adequate safeguards are in place.


Tokenization and blockchain services may involve transfers of data to jurisdictions that do not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Blockchain records may be globally replicated across decentralized networks outside our control.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include, but are not limited to, encryption, access controls, and secure server environments.

We cannot delete, modify, or restrict access to data that is published onchain, including wallet addresses and token transfer history. You are responsible for safeguarding your private keys and ensuring that your use of tokenized domains complies with applicable law.

NOTE, rights such as erasure or correction do not extend to onchain data once published. Make that limitation explicit so users don’t assume GDPR/CCPA erasure applies to blockchain records.
